Too Many Airlines: IATA

International Air Transport Association chief Giovanni Bisignani told the Globe and Mail that there are too many airlines, and that national governments need to loosen their strict trade rules. "The flag on the tail is killing our industry, because this flag that represents a country doesn't allow us to be able to run this industry economically," said Mr. Bisignani.
