Nigerian Student Awarded

Nigerian student Nnaemeka Ekwosimba is the recipient of Carleton University's first Richard Van Loon scholarship worth $5,000. The scholarship, in honour of the university's former president, recognizes an African student at Carleton with high academic marks but who needs financial aid. Mr. Ekwosimba, a fourth year law student and co-founder of Carleton's AIDS Awareness Society, has been on the dean's list twice.
