Bilateral Study on Hans Island

Canadian and Danish researchers are joining forces to set up a weather station on the disputed Arctic rock of Hans Island. The joint project is funded through International Polar Year programs. Both Canada and Denmark claim sovereignty over Hans Island, located in the Nares Strait.
