Murder Rate Curbs Investment

Jamaica needs to stem its high murder rate if it wants to encourage foreign investment, Canadian High Commissioner Denis Kingsley told the Rotary Club of Kingston, Jamaica last week. Mr. Kingsley said while Canada's crime level, particularly in Toronto, is affected by the 200,000-strong Jamaican diaspora, Canada remains committed to assisting the Caribbean nation.
