Taiwan Looks for WHO Seat

A Taiwanese delegation led by ambassador-at-large Dr. Yung-tung Wu is in Ottawa this week looking for support from the Canadian government to get observer status in the World Health Organization. Canada voted in favour of such status for Taiwan for the first time last year. Dr. Yung-tung is also advisory counsellor to the president of Taiwan.
