Mad Cow Case in BC

Canada's 10th case of mad cow disease has been confirmed in a dairy cow on a farm in Delta, B.C., the Canadian Food Inspection Agency confirmed last week, saying no part of the carcass entered the human or animal food systems. The finding has brought renewed calls from U.S. legislators and cattle producers to speed up a Country of Origin Label program for meat, scheduled for implementation in September 2008.
