Smooth Business Encouraged

On the eve of the EU-Canada summit scheduled for June 4, International Trade Minister David Emerson has urged EU trade chief Peter Mandelson to take steps to make it easier for Canadian and European countries to do business, Reuters reported. "Clearly, Canada and the EU should grasp the opportunity presented by the upcoming summit to achieve concrete results," Mr. Emerson said in a May 10 letter to Mr. Mandelson.
