Passport Agency Pleads for Cash

Projects to improve Canadian passport security are at risk unless the federal government increases Passport Canada's funding, according to an internal report obtained by Canadian Press. The agency ran a $3-million deficit last year, as costs have increased because of new border rules and security demands. The completion of some projects, like the e-Passport, has already been delayed.
