Poor Healthcare Wait Times

An international study says Canada is not doing enough to reduce wait times for medical care, as compared to other Commonwealth nations, the Globe and Mail wrote. While Canada, England and New Zealand have shown more commitment to reducing wait times than Australia or Wales, the study, published in the journal Health Affairs, says, Canada needs to make major policy changes, like developing national standards for measuring and reporting wait times, to make a difference.
