Flood Aid to Asia

Canada will contribute $1 million in humanitarian assistance to Bangladesh, India and Nepal to help survivors of the countries' recent floods. More than 1,300 people have died and up to 20 million are in need of shelter, food, medicine and other aid after massive monsoons caused the flooding.
