Drug Company Gives Approval

Drug company GlaxoSmithKline Inc. will allow generic company Apotex Inc. to manufacture an antiretroviral drug that will be made available to Rwanda through Canada's Access to Medicines Regime, the company said last week. Apotex still needs consent from at least one other company for its three-in-one medication. So far, no pills have been distributed to Africa under the regime.
