Labour Minister Jean-Pierre Blackburn, who was travelling in South America last week, signed two Memoranda of Understanding on labour co-operation with partner nations. A new MOU was signed with Argentina, while one with Brazil was renewed for the second time. He also announced $1 million in funding for a program in Columbia that aims to "strengthen and enforce labour laws and... support good governance."
