Charities Break the Rules

A report by the Canadian Revenue Agency, obtained by the Canadian Press, showed that most Canadian charities engaged in international disaster relief are breaking the rules. Over half of the 27 randomly selected disaster-relief charities scrutinized failed to meet standards in terms of donation receipts, bookkeeping, paperwork and donation monitoring accountability.
