Khadr Trial Suffers Another Blow

The Pentagon dismissed the judge presiding over Omar Khadr's trial in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, last week in what critics said was another sign the Canadian won't get a fair trial. U.S. officials were not commenting on why Army Col. Peter Brownback was replaced, but critics noted Col. Brownback had refused to set a date for Mr. Khadr's trial, ordered the prosecution to hand over documents to the defence and appeared to express some degree of sympathy for Mr. Khadr's situation.
