Drop War Crimes: Canada

Canadian officials appear to be quietly promoting a proposal to drop charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity against Northern Uganda's rebel leader, Joseph Kony, the Ottawa Citizen reported. An unclassified document believed to have been circulated by Canadian officials to member countries of the UN Security Council states that Canada is open "in principle" to Uganda asking the Security Council to defer indictments against Kony, the leader of the Lord's Resistance Army.
