Guergis Talks Up the Americas

Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International Trade Helena Guergis was in Philadelphia last week to deliver a speech about Canada's strategy for the Americas to the Pan-American Association of Philadelphia. Ms. Guergis highlighted the importance of NAFTA and the $660-billion Canada-U.S. trade relationship, as well as the importance of Canada-CARICOM trade and of signing free trade agreements with countries such as Colombia, Peru and Chile.
