The World Tamil Movement, a Toronto-based non-profit organization, wired more than $3 million to accounts overseas, including some linked to the Tamil Tigers, before being shut down by the government in June for allegedly financing terrorist activities, the National Post quoted this week an RCMP report as saying. Public Safety Minister Stockwell Day listed the organization as a terrorist group on June 16.
