Harper-Hitler Comparison

Frank Dimant, executive vice-president of Jewish human rights group B'nai Brith Canada, last week said it was "obscene and offensive" that Quebec artists, angered by recent cuts to arts funding, compared Prime Minister Stephen Harper to Nazi leader Adolf Hitler during a demonstration. "Such statements trivialize the Holocaust and inject ugly rhetoric in what ought to be reasoned debate on real and pressing political issues," he said in a statement.
