Nader Likes Carbon Tax

Independent U.S. presidential candidate Ralph Nader urged Canadians to vote either Liberal or Green in the Oct. 14 federal election, the Globe and Mail reported. Throwing his support behind the two parties advocating carbon taxes, Mr. Nader, a former leader of the U.S. Green Party, issued the statement on Monday. "This Canadian election is an example of how smaller third parties can influence the debate, with the Green Party's carbon tax being adopted by the Liberal Party as Exhibit A," Mr. Nader said.
