A new survey by the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters has found businesses' outlook of the manufacturing sector continues to deteriorate, the National Post reported. Companies feel that business conditions are getting worse rather than better, according to the association's 2008-2009 Management Issues Survey, which polled more than 1,200 companies. Concerns centre on rising costs for transportation and shipping, and materials and energy. However, many companies were positive about demand and access to foreign markets.
