From June 25 to 27, 2010, G8 leaders will meet at Deerhurst Resort in the northern Ontario town, which Mr. Clement hailed for its location and security. As host, Canada plans to use the summit to advocate for open markets and free trade, and to champion freedom, democracy, human rights and the rule of law, said a government statement.
