Premiers' China Trade Mission

A Canadian trade delegation of four provincial premiers and more than 100 business folks soared through China this week and closed deals worth $110 million, Canwest News Service reported. The tour has been considered a political coup for the premiers who led the mission in the face of what was described as a lack of federal diplomatic action with the Asian giant on the part of Prime Minister Stephen Harper and the federal government.
