Obama-Harper Phone Call

Prime Minister Stephen Harper and U.S. President Barack Obama had their first telephone conversation on Friday, government officials reported. The two spoke about the president's upcoming trip to Canada, and agreed that the agenda will include discussions about the global economic situation—specifically the auto sector—the environment, energy and Afghanistan. No date has yet been set for Mr. Obama's visit, which will be his first foreign trip as president.
