Senior government ministers are using this week's parliamentary break to visit Canada's top focus regions, Latin America and India.

Senior government ministers are using this week's parliamentary break to visit Canada's top focus regions, Latin America and India. Foreign Minister Lawrence Cannon was in Brazil Feb. 15 to 17 to meet the minister of external relations and minister of science and technology. Minister of State for the Americas Peter Kent is visiting Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, and Suriname from Feb. 16 to 20. Meanwhile, Industry Minister Tony Clement is in India Feb. 14 to 19. In India last month were Canada's Trade Minister Stockwell Day, Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz and Immigration Minister Jason Kenney.
