New Trade Office in Japan

Canada has opened a new trade office in the western Japanese city of Kita Kyushu, the Shokuhin Shimbun reported.

Canada has opened a new trade office in the western Japanese city of Kita Kyushu, the Shokuhin Shimbun reported. At the opening ceremony, Canadian Ambassador to Japan Jonathan Fried said, "Kita Kyushu has excellent environmental and robotic technologies as well as convenient transportation. This office will promote further exchanges between our two countries." The new office will cover the islands of Kyushu, Shikoku and Okinawa as well as the Hiroshima area of Honshu.
