Two more Canadian soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan, bringing the total to 127. Sapper Mathieu Allard, 21, and Cpl. Christian Bobbitt, 23, were killed on Aug. 1 after an improvised explosive device attack west of Kandahar City. Meanwhile, July was the deadliest month for the coatlition, and the increased number of attacks is being blamed on the upcoming Afghan elections, to be held on Aug. 20.
