Quebec Premier Jean Charest is calling on the federal government to get with the climate change program, and commit to emissions reductions closer to international standards. He told the Montreal Gazette the federal targets are too low, and that he is trying to get Ottawa into a "good position" before the Copenhagen summit in December. "We would like to see the federal government present objectives that are at least on the same playing field as the rest of the international community," said Charest.
