Women want abortion support

Nearly 68 per cent of Canadian women polled in a Nanos Research survey believe countries that receive aid from Canada should provide access to safe abortions, the Globe and Mail reported. The "Muskoka Initiative" will see G8 countries pledge billions of dollars to helping maternal and child health in developing countries. However, the Harper government has said abortion will be excluded from Canadian support.
