Fire aid minister: Lobby group

A social conservative lobby group that fights against abortion is calling on Stephen Harper to fire CIDA Minister Bev Oda, claiming her recent comments put her at odds with government policy on abortion, the Toronto Sun reported. Campaign Life Coalition officials described Ms. Oda as being "pro-abortion" based on her recent comments in the Ottawa Citizen, where she said Canada would provide funding for abortion as long as the procedure was legal in the country.
