Baird talks Syria in Washington

Canada and its allies don't have the international support needed to be as tough on Syria as they have been on Libya, Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird said during a trip to meet with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in Washington last week. Both strongly condemned the Syrian government's violent crackdown, the Canadian Press reported. "We've got to work with our allies to do more," Mr. Baird said.
