Canada still flies in Kandahar

Air force crews will still fly out of Kandahar until November, the Ottawa Citizen reported. Even though Canada's Joint Task Force Afghanistan Air Wing ended operations on Aug. 18, two C-130J transport aircraft, as well as 60 military personnel, are staying behind to support the International Security Assistance Force. The government committed to providing dozens of hours of logistical support past the July deadline.
