US authorities are defending a sting operation after they created a fake company that promised to arrange illegal meetings in Ontario for pedophiles, Postmedia News reported. Questions are being raised about this online portrayal of Ontario being a "safe haven for sex tourism," but an American special agent who was in charge of the investigation said Canada made for a plausible scenario. Four people were caught during the sting operation.
