Shipbuilding decision coming

The government is expected to announce the winners of the $33-billion contract to build warships and non-combat vessels this week, the Globe and Mail reported. There are three shipyards vying for the bid: one in Halifax, one in Vancouver and the other in the Quebec City area. One shipyard will receive a $25-billion contract to construct combat vessels, another will get $8-billion for icebreakers and naval supply ships, and the third will receive $2-billion for smaller vessels.
