Afghans listed countries like the US and India as top donors to their homeland in a new survey, Reuters reported. The Asia Foundation, an NGO headquartered in San Francisco, conducted the survey. It asked Afghans to name big donors. Most cited the US, Germany, Japan and India ahead of countries like Canada and the UK. Aid from India has grown from $50 million to $2 billion, but is still less than what Canada and the UK provide.
