Prime Minister Stephen Harper is expected to visit Thailand and is considering a stop in Japan to talk trade later this month, the Globe and Mail reported. Mr. Harper is travelling to South Korea at the end of March for a nuclear security summit. He is thinking about a stop in Japan before the summit in hopes of launching formal free trade talks. The two countries launched a joint study last year. After the summit, Mr. Harper is expected to visit Thailand looking to launch exploratory talks for a free trade deal with it.
