Spies watched Occupy

Critics are saying they are disturbed that Canada's terrorism assessment unit maintained close watch on the Occupy protests that erupted across the country last year, the Globe and Mail reported. The Integrated Terrorism Assessment Centre was said to have been keeping tabs on possible economic trouble and support from Anonymous. The ITAC wrote three reports on the protests. One outlined the planned demonstrations. Another report was written days after Anonymous threatened Toronto with cyber attacks.
