Canada on US watch list

For the fourth year in a row, Canada was put on the United States' priority watch list for not reforming its copyright laws, Reuters reported. The list consists of counties that have a bad record of trying to stop the theft of intellectual property and copyrighted items. Also joining Canada on the list were Russia, China, India, Israel, Pakistan, and Thailand, among others. The US Trade Representative said they would review Canada's place on the list if it moved ahead in strengthening copyright legislation.
