CSIS making errors: Watchdog

The Canadian Security Intelligence Service has continued to make errors in intelligence reporting and is not complying with policy, according to a secret November 2011 evaluation by its watchdog, the Canadian Press reported. Outgoing CSIS inspector general Eva Plunkett said the reputation of Canada's spy service will suffer if problems are left unaddressed. The Harper government recently eliminated Ms. Plunkett's former office after she retired in December 2011.
