Czech PM warns of trade trouble

Czech Prime Minister Petr Ne as warned his Canadian counterpart that his country could create problems for the Canada-European Union trade deal unless Canada lifted its visa requirement for Czechs, the Czech Position reported. Mr. Ne as and Mr. Harper met at the sidelines of the NATO summit. Mr. Ne as said if the visa situation does not change, the trade deal could face difficulties from the Czech side such as with ratification in Parliament. Canada put a visa requirement on Czechs visiting the country in 2009.
