False border bomb threats

The Ambassador Bridge at the Detroit-Windsor border was shut down July 16 after a phone call reported a bomb threat to one of the busiest border connections between Canada and the US, the Associated Press reported.

The Ambassador Bridge at the Detroit-Windsor border was shut down July 16 after a phone call reported a bomb threat to one of the busiest border connections between Canada and the US, the Associated Press reported. Although security sweeps found no explosive devices, the threat came days after a similar warning was phoned in regarding the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel, which was also found to be clear of any bombs.
