US training under scrutiny

Court documents show controversial security contractor Blackwater, now Academi LLC, trained Canadian troops and police without permission from US authorities, the Canadian Press reported. The training included defensive driving, marksmanship, bodyguard, and close combat skills. The court documents came out as part of a $7.5 million settlement of criminal charges against the company.
